Please stop in and see us. You will be able to:

• Return materials owned by the Morristown & Morris Township Library
• Check out books and DVDs from a small browsing collection
• Register for a library card or renew a current card
• Get answers to your informational questions from a Reference Librarian

We’re sorry, but we are not able to offer seating or Internet access for the public and we are not able to accept books belonging to other libraries at our temporary location. The materials in the library building will not be accessible, but we hope you enjoy the books and DVDs that we have available for you.

Update on Library Repairs and Reopening: While we do not yet have a date scheduled to reopen the library, we are moving forward with the asbestos abatement and diligently working toward getting all of our mechanical systems up and running so that we may safely reopen.

Here is some helpful information for you:

• You may return your items to any local library within Morris County. Items owned by the Morristown & Morris Township Library may also be returned to our temporary location at 88 South St.
• Please do not use our bookdrop.
• When placing a hold, please do not choose Morristown as a pick-up location.
• Residents needing new Morristown/Twp library cards may get cards at our temporary location at 88 South St. You can use your library card at all MAIN libraries.
• You can still access downloadable audiobooks, research databases, online reference books and one on one tutoring from our website. For downloadable audiobooks click on the ListenNJ logo to the left. For research databases click on the Research From Home option on the left. For reference books online click on the Gale Virtual Reference Library logo to the right and for one on one tutoring click on the tutor.com logo also on the right. You will need your Morristown & Morris Township library card to access these services.

The Director’s Book Club will meet on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 10:00 AM at the Presbyterian Church Parish House next door to the library at 65 South Street. The book will be The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton.
